This will be a huge season for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
Liverpool achieved their main aim of the campaign, which was to secure a top four finish and bring the Champions League back to Anfield.

Liverpool's opening fixture of this brand new Premier League campaign is against Watford on Saturday 12th August, at Vicarage Road.

This will be a tough set of opening fixtures for the Reds, with games against Arsenal and Manchester City inside the first month.
Based on last season the troubles will be in the subsequent games against the likes of Palace, Watford and Burnley, all sides who beat them last year.
Their record against the top six last season was excellent, they didn't lose a single game against top six opposition.
Liverpool managed 22 wins during their last campaign, ending the season with 76 points, a 1 point advantage between themselves and fifth placed Arsenal.
This was a massive improvement on the 2015/16 campaign, where they won 16 matches and registered just 60 points, finishing a lowly 8th.
European Football
As a result of finishing tenth, the Reds didn't have to contend with European football unlike all of their rivals.
The big challenge for Liverpool and Klopp will be to maintain challenges on both fronts, an extremely difficult task.
It is a very tough balancing act that Klopp must now take, with Liverpool desperate to secure trophies.
Playing fixtures on a Tuesday or Wednesday and then playing on the Saturday or Sunday will place huge demands on the Liverpool players.
On paper, they have the weakest overall line up of the top six, and juggling the demands of European football will be a huge challenge for Klopp and his high pressing style.

If Liverpool are to compete on all fronts they will need to strengthen their squad, bringing in quality to enhance both the squad and first team.
They have already made two signings including Mohammed Salah and Andrew Robertson from Hull.
The future of Phillippe Coutinho is yet to be determined, with the Brazilian playmaker linked with Barcelona.
This would be a massive loss for Liverpool, who regard Coutinho rightly as their most influential player.
Naby Keita of RB Leipzig is another who has been linked with Klopp's side, with the Guinea midfielder a rising star.
