Ripon 3.40 - The David Chapman Memorial Handicap

5f - Good To Firm Ground - Class 3 Handicap - 9 runners
Today's selection ran well in defeat last time out at Chester finishing fifth from twelve runners. That day he was drawn in stall 11 which is one of the toughest to over come at Chester so did well to finish where he did with some good horses, the likes of Refelktor and Lucky Beggar, behind him. Before that he ran in a twenty runner, class two race against some good horses finishing half way down the pack after hitting the front one furlong out and then tiring. Today sees him back in a class three where he's much better drawn and only against eight rivals. He's also on much better weight terms with todays favourite (who beat him just one length when they last met) Has a great chance to gain his first win since the start of July today!
